Day Three with Daddy

We've made it to day three at Daddy Daycare! It has been different from Mommy Daycare, but it has been good. My old man is trying hard to do everything right and perfect. I'm trying to do my part. After all, how much work can someone as cute as me be? Here are a few shots from today. Enjoy!

This picture was taken first thing this morning. Daddy wanted me to smile for the camera. What he didn't understand is that I had morning breath and wasn't ready to smile!

A quiet moment with Daddy.

Here we are watching TV together. Daddy sure doesn't like the same shows Mommy did!

It's now 2:30 PM and it has been a long day! I'm exhausted from being so cute and so good for Daddy! So, I curled up on Mommy and Daddy's bed and went to sleep. I may wake up before Mommy gets home, then again, this bed is so comfortable!

Day Two

Well, Daddy and I are on day two of our own version of Daddy Daycare!

Yesterday went well, from the best I can tell. I did miss my Mommy and I really didn't want to let go of her last night. I curled up in her lap and went sound to sleep shortly after she got home. Daddy took good care of me, but there's no one like Mommy! She knows me best of all.

Well, here's a shot for the day. I love being dressed like this...as a matter of fact, that's the best way to be dressed!

A Strange Day At the Heartsill House

I began a new journey this morning. For the first time in my life, when I woke up, Mommy wasn't here! Today was a sad day. Mommy had to go back to work, teaching her students at school. That meant a change for me. My Daddy is going to stay with me during the month of May! He's on leave from work (I've never heard of paternity leave) and plans to spoil me rotten for the next few weeks!

By 2:30 this afternoon, I had had all the excitement I could take. So, I wrote Mommy a little letter for Daddy to photograph. And, I thought I would go ahead and take a nap before Mommy gets here! She doesn't know what she's in for!

I love you Mommy!

This photo was taken the first thing this morning...that's the expression I gave Daddy when I learned that he was staying home today--but, that's before I found out Mommy wasn't going to be here!

Oh Happy Day

Write it down somewhere...April 26-27, 2008 was a historic night. For the first time in my short life, I slept the entire night! My Mommy and Daddy put me to bed around 7:30 PM and I woke up at 7:00 AM! What a wonderful, wonderful night!

My silly parents still woke up several times during the night, listening to my monitor, and wondering if everything was okay. My Mommy even asked my Daddy to go check on me. Not sure why she's worried like that, it's just that I am growing up.

So, after you've had a good night's sleep, you wake up with a smile on your face! Here I am heading out the door this morning...oh what a wonderful morning...

A Nice Little Visit

I woke up from my nap, and guess who had come to see me? My Pape and Nene! They drove all the way down from Kentucky to love on me, kiss me, hold me, rock me, talk baby talk to me, and all around spoil me! Maybe they will come again...and soon!

Just Us Men Hanging Out Together

Here I am with Daddy...Just us guys laying back, with our feet propped up...watching a little TV...as a matter of fact, the Atlanta Braves were playing...and winning! Go Braves!

Surrounded By My Toys

Here's a very quiet moment...just surrounded by a few of my toys. I'm not really into toys yet, but I do like to have them around me.

A Man in Red

I don't know that I've ever posed for you while wearing red...I forget...Hope you enjoy...

Ta-Dah!

Daddy, I wasn't ready for the picture to be taken!

The Pattern Continues

Well, after discovering my thumbs last week, the pattern is continuing! I'm really enjoying the thumbs. Who said you need a pacifer? Not me!

Something New...

Just today, I've discovered something new...my thumb! And now, all I can think about is putting it into my mouth! My Nene says that my Mommy sucked her thumb too...so, like Mother like son!

Okay...I've Reached a New Level of Cute!

I've gone about as far as I can in being cute!

Ladies, stand back...Mommy says I am too young to be interested in girls...at least yet...but, after this picture, I can't promise they can resist me!

The Cutiest Outfit

I wore a new outfit to church today...everyone loved it...especially my Mommy!

What do you think?

Thought you might like a closeup...

While you are getting in close, you might as well get real close!

Getting ready to head out the door...wanted to flash a small smile before we leave...

Just Me and the Old Man...

One day last week, it was really pretty outside. So, I convinced Mommy and Daddy to take me outside for a few minutes. So, Daddy and I sat in the swing and Mommy just said we were the cutiest things around. So, she had to take our picture!

Just for Nene

My Nene has been wanting to see me smile for a long time. So, this morning, I gave my Mommy a nice big smile! Enjoy...

Good Monday Morning Everybody!

A few early morning photographs. Just snuggling with my parents...

Time for my closeup!

Here I am thinking about my day, planning my agenda. Two big things on the horizon: What time do I eat; and, when do I get to sleep again?

I can't eat until when????!!!!

A Get Well Note

Thursday, my Daddy got a call that my Granny is in the hospital in Greenville. I'm not sure I understand it all, my Daddy said she has Bronkidus or something like that. She's been very puny or so it seems. I wish there was something I could do to make her feel better, but Daddy says all I can do right now is pray for her to get better soon.

So, I'm doing that; but I also decided to draw a little picture for Granny. Hope it makes her feel better!

Evan

Hello Sunday!

It's a little hard to tell what this is, I know. But, it is one of my favorite new toys! It is a giant Ladybug music box. It plays, "It's a small world."

In this picture, we are having a staring contest. So far, I'm winning!

My Daddy takes strange pictures of me! And what's worse, he thinks it is funny! Here, I was about to get my pjs on for the night and daddy thought it would be cute if he took my onesie part of the way off. Do you think the style will catch on? If so, remember you saw it here first!

I know, if you look out the blinds, you can see that it's still daylight, but that doesn't stop me from getting sleepy. I'm just about ready for a long night's sleep here.
