Hello everybody! Happy Tuesday!

Well, after much thinking on my part, I've decided what I am going to do with my life (when I'm grown up that is). I'm going to be a professional singer! So, I've already started practicing. Unfortunately, my parents haven't given me a microphone yet, so I have to use what I have--in this case, my hair brush.



What do you think about my hairdo? Does it look like a rock star or opera singer's hair?

Lord, Keep Me from Temptation

I am getting more and more independent and want more freedom every day. And, with each new freedom, the temptation to get into things (like plants) that I am not supposed to is getting stronger and stronger!

A Day with Daddy

Well...the medicine is working! My fever is gone! I'm feeling better! And, I had an 1 1/2 hour nap already this morning.

Daddy is staying home with me and taking care of me.

But now, I am getting into everything this morning! Can you tell?

I found the bag filled with my diapers and decided they needed to be thrown all over the floor.

Then, I decided to pull on the handles of the trunk.

Next, I decided to crawl over to the fireplace.

Now, I'm trying to figure out a way to open the baby wipe box!

Daddy keeps saying something about it being a long, long, long day.

Wonder what he means?

An Innocent Moment

Around lunchtime on Tuesday, my Daddy got a call from Daycare. I had a fever! Daddy packed up his work toys and came to get me. Daddy decided that I probably should go on to see Dr. Jamie since I had had an upset stomach over the weekend.

Guess what? I have another ear infection! Yes. A second ear infection in a month--in the other ear this time! Dr. Jamie didn't believe it!

So, Mommy and Daddy gave me the bubble gum medicine and I needed some sleep. My Daddy said something about how he wished I was always this innocent. I'm not sure what he meant by that. Anyone know?

Won't Be Long!

I am learning how to sit up! While I can't pull myself up yet, when my Mommy or Daddy sit me up, I can sit there for a long period of time--unless I get distracted by Peanut, Mommy, Daddy, TV, or food!

A Lazy Saturday

It has been a good Saturday, so far!

I've had a couple of naps already and I got to see my favorite football team--the University of Alabama--whip Arkansas! It has been a good day!

Not sure why I like covering up so much, but I do.



Can you tell, I've got most of my toys scattered across the floor and no body seems to mind!

Be Careful Little Hands

You probably can't see what I am doing in the next two photos. However, I love rolling/crawling my way over to our fireplace. I like the cold tile that bumps up against the carpet.

As I've been exploring the tile, I've found that there are small strings of carpet that I can pull on. The strings are under my hands. But, if you will look at my eyes, you know I couldn't be guilty of anything!



See how sweet and perfect I am? But, I don't want to let go of the strings!

When Mommy's Gone

It is always dangerous when Mommy is gone and Daddy is in charge!

As you can tell, I'm really in charge and running the show.



The first thing to go was my clothes.



But, don't I look happy! I should, I just woke up from a two-hour nap! That's my second nap today.

A Fun Friday

I'm doing something today that I've never done before!

I'm not sure it is the right thing to do, but Mommy and Daddy said it was okay--since they gave me permission.

Today is my Daddy's day off. So, instead of going to school, Daddy let me play hookie! I skipped going to school today.

But, as my Daddy is learning, he'd best keep a close eye on me.

Looks like I am off on an adventure!

Well, I'm not as innocent as I tried to make it sound...My new favorite thing is playing with Peanut's toys! Who needs baby toys when you can play with slobbery doggie toys?

My Daddy's Favorite Ball Player

My Daddy loves to watch sports on TV. He promises me that when I am older, he is going to take me to some baseball games and football games! I can't wait.

Anyway, when people find out that Daddy loves sports, they always ask him who his favorite player is. Well, he now has a new answer!

I'm already looking forward to my first game. Maybe it will come next year!



I've got my baseball outfit on. If you can't read it, the front says, "Dad's Team!"



I guess I need to have some teeth before I can have a hotdog or french fries or nachos. So, I guess I will have to wait until next summer!

When Left to My Own Devices

It is becoming more and more dangerous for me to be left alone!

Mommy laid me on the floor and thought I might take a nap.

For one second, Mommy turned her back and I decided to wrap myself in my blanket.



I feel like a beautiful butterfly trying to get out of my shell.



Any body want to play hide-and-go-seek?



I don't think you'll ever find me under my blanket. This is the perfect place to hide!

Growing Up Way Too Fast!

My Mommy and Daddy say I am growing up way too fast. I don't know what that means. All I know to do is grow.

My parents tell me that it will only be a few more days before I am crawling. I've learned how to lift up my knees and raise up on my arms. I just can't seem to get the forward movement right. At least not yet.



But, it sure is fun learning how to do to this!



It is even more fun to be getting all this attention! I do love the attention.

A Surprise When I Woke Up

When I woke up from my nap today, we had some surprise visitors! Well, my Mommy and Daddy knew they were coming, but I had forgotten!

Today is Friday, September 5. From what I understand, Friday's are always important because they come before Football Saturday! And tomorrow, the University of Alabama plays again! So, I've got my crimson on, my rattle in my hand, and I am ready to cheer!

Happy 7th Month Birthday to Me!

Today is a very special day! Did you have it circled on your calendar? I certainly hope so. Today, is my 7th month birthday. I know! It's so hard to believe. I've only been born for 7 whole months, doesn't really seem like a day over 5 months to me.
