Last Day of Vacation

Today, on our last day of vacation, my parents took me to the Gatlinburg Aquarium. I had about the best time possible!

Here I am with Mommy in front of a water fall.

 

Mommy was afraid that we’d get wet.

 

There’s so much to look at here at the aquarium.

 

I think these fish could eat both Mommy and me.

 

Mommy, I’m going to stay close!

 

These fish look more my size.

 

Every time I turned around, this fish was following us! I think it liked me.

 

I’m not sure how this person was doing this, but he was swimming under the water with the fishes.

 

Mommy and I have so much to look at.

 

That’s not a hat on my head…that’s a fish right above my head!

 

These were mean looking sharks. Look at those teeth! I wonder if his mommy brushes he teeth?

 

I’m glad he finally swam away. I didn’t like the shark.

 

This was my Daddy’s favorite exhibit. Does anybody have any hot butter?

 

Mommy, don’t let those crabs grab me!

 

This was my Mommy’s favorite—these are sea dragons.

 

I’m very thankful that there was a glass between me and this eel.

 

When I grow up, I want to be a diver.

 

How did I get under the water?

 

Me and Daddy are looking for hidden treasures.

 

After a long, fun day at the aquarium, I am in the car, heading back to the hotel.

 

I’m back at the hotel now, in my PJ’s, all ready for bed. I just might dream about fish tonight.

Cold Outside, Warm Inside

The weather outside is a little frightful…But, with my family, I am so warm inside.

Here I am with Santa. You know, I really thought Santa would be much taller.

 

Santa does have a nice smile.

 

Here I am with Daddy. Do you like my little bear hat? Someone named Elaine from Canada gave it to me for Christmas.

On to Our Next Adventure

After spending the night near my Aunt and Uncle’s house, we left for the mountains of Tennessee.

The streams of Gatlinburg are beautiful.

 

I’ve decided that I am too big and too old to depend on my parents for anything. I can do it all by myself.

 

Daddy, hurry up! I can’t wait to get to the other side.

 

This is the bridge I was just crossing. Mommy is a good photographer.

At My Aunt and Uncle’s House

The day after Christmas, we went to my Aunt and Uncle’s house.

And, to finish off the day, Daddy got into the egg nog and then put on a funny, funny hat.

Merry Christmas everyone!

During the night, Santa came to visit the Heartsill house. As you can see, I was on the REALLY good list this year.

 

If I look sleepy, it’s because I woke up today at 5:08 AM.

 

Even Peanut got a visit from old Saint Nick.

 

I love opening presents!

 

You just never know what’s inside before you open them!

 

And then, when you open up the present, it’s always something fun.

 

I wonder what’s next?

 

I’m hoping it’s not clothes…

 

Oh no…it’s Elmo! My favorite!

 

This is what I think of Christmas.

 

It makes me just want to fall on my back and laugh. Believe it or not, I’ve even screamed a couple of times this morning. I know, that’s hard to believe!
