Have You Heard?

Have you heard? I'm having a birthday on Wednesday! I will be one year old! A whole year old!

So, today, Mommy and Daddy took me to the Party Store to look for a birthday hat. I tried on several and thought I'd see what you thought.

Here I am with a yellow construction hardhat. Mommy would have to write my name on the front. Daddy wasn't a big fan of this one, I don't think.



Here I am with a red fireman's hat. Mommy would have to write my name on this one too.



Here are my three favorite. Can you guess which one I liked the best?

This is a baseball helmet. I think Daddy liked this one!



In keeping with the season, here I am with a Mardi Gras hat, or at least I think it's a hat. I really liked all the little shiny things, and the glitter.



And, with the final one, I've gotten promoted to fire chief! I think I look good in my red fire chief helmet.

Now, we'll just have to decide which one is right for me and my birthday.

A Touch of Chinese

Today, Mommy, Daddy, and I went to a Chinese festival in Birmingham. Most of it was fun, though I'm still not very sure of the dragon! He was a little frightening. That's why I took Mommy with me!



This was another dancer, with a dragon's head.

I'm Ready for My Close Up

Mommy just had to get in the picture with me! I said okay. But, Daddy didn't wait for me to pose. So, you'll just have to live with the "deer in the headlights" look!



Daddy said he wanted a close up. How's this for a close up?

I really don't have time for pictures! I've got places to go and people to see.



Even if I don't have anywhere to go, I've got things on my mind!

It's not fair that Mommy and Daddy keep moving things higher and higher.

My Big Debut!

Daddy and Mommy are enjoying their new video camera. I'm withholding judgment on whether or not I like it!

This one is of me walking with my new toy. Mommy and Daddy got this for me last weekend and immediately I started walking. Then, I decided to let go and walk without it! My parents have yet to video me walking by myself! I'm just too fast!




Daddy's really trying to get me to talk. But, I'm not very interested in doing that. At least when the camera is running.

Just A Few Pictures of Me

I am becoming the master of silly faces. Sorry this one is a little blurry, but I am rarely still these days.

If you can't tell, I'm on the move! My eyes are fixed on something and I am ready to go!



I love to play with Peanut's toys. Peanut doesn't seem to mind, too much anyway. These are Wally (the orange one) and Monster (the purple one).



Oh, did my Mommy or Daddy tell you that I am into everything? I like to open and close doors. I like hiding from my Mommy and Daddy. And, I even like crawling into an empty box and playing.

Getting My Exercise

Today, I've really been working on getting my exercise. All I need is an empty diaper box and off I go.

While I love to eat my Mommy and Daddy's cooking, I also love feeding Peanut!

Evan At Dinnertime

I'm beginning to eat more and more table food. Tonight, my Mommy and Daddy made homemade soup with cornbread.

I enjoy eating tablefood...and I enjoy making a mess with it!

Smiles For Everyone

Winter is on the way! My Mommy says that it will be VERY cold tonight and so I need to get dressed and ready for it!

Here I am in a new sweater that I got for Christmas--it is finally cold enough for me to wear it!



For some reason, my smiles are hidding!



I refuse to smile! I absolutely refuse.



Okay Daddy, just turn the camera off! No more smiles. You got one. That's enough for everyone!

Almost Bedtime

Mommy and I were getting ready for me to go to bed when Mommy got the great idea for us to call Nene and tell her goodnight.

Here I am sitting in my Mommy's lap, getting ready to listen to Nene.



I love to listen, but I don't talk much on the phone. Just give me a few years I suppose and I'll be talking on the phone way too much!

Granny and My New Outfit

Granny gave me some clothes a while back and just now I am able to wear them. Here I am looking all cute in the outfit. I know it will be hard to even look at the outfit, when you see how cute I am.



I sure am having fun with Mommy and Daddy today.



You really can't see from this picture, but I am actually standing up here! My arms really help give me balance.
