Sunday Morning Pancakes

This morning, Daddy cooked us pancakes for breakfast.

Do you think I liked them?

What do you think? Still trying to decide?

Pardon me while I laugh at your indecision!

Of course, silly, I loved the pancakes! I especially loved the blueberries in them!

Me and the Birthday Girl

Nene and I have something in common. She loves to hold me and I love to be held! Imagine that!

And I love having Nene read to me.

All for Evan

Here's our little angel, enjoying another day...

Then again, he enjoys every day!

This weekend, my Nene and Pape came to see me. It's Nene's birthday today! So, she had to celebrate with her favorite grandson!

This week, Daddy built me something. It's my very own toybox!

Doesn't Daddy know that I'm going to be a doctor and not a baseball player!

My First Trip to the Beach, Part 6

Daddy looks like he's undercover.

I think what he's really doing is making sure the sea gulls don't give him a little present on his head.

Do you know where my feet went?

Oh now, my legs are now gone!

Bye Bye water. I hope to see you soon.

My First Trip to the Beach, Part 5

I think I spend hours playing in the sand.

It's a good thing sand doesn't stain your clothes.

If it did, Mommy would be covered in sand right now.

The sun was bright, my smile was even better.

How cute is this!

My First Trip to the Beach, Part 4

As I said earlier, it turned cold at the beach. Thankfully, Mommy remembered to pack my jacket and hood. I think I look like Little Red Riding Hood.

Daddy's not very good at taking pictures that he's in. Please don't tell him.

What looks better, my Mommy, me, or the water?

I can be serious when I need to be.

This is what happens after a day at the beach!

My First Trip to the Beach, Part 3

Even though I am small, I do get heavy after awhile, or so Daddy said.

So, he found a creative way to carry me.

I'm way too busy to look at my Mommy or the camera! I'm watching the ocean.

Oh, the water is SO cold!

But Mommy and I just had to put our feet in the water!

I think I like the beach. Maybe we can come back again soon.

My First Trip to the Beach, Part 2

My Mommy takes the best pictures!

She should enter this one in a contest or something, don't you think?

If you look carefully, you see a little white in my hair. It's not dandruff.

Daddy is wanting to hold me. I'm wanting to play in the sand.

Oh, my first "toes in the water" experience.

Some nice man offered to take our picture. He did pretty good.

My First Trip to the Beach, Part 1

Daddy took me and Mommy away for the weekend. He said something about it being Valentine's Day weekend and Mommy's Birthday weekend.

Daddy took us to the beach. And, did I enjoy it!

Here I am with the birthday girl.

I don't quite understand the water.

And, I really don't understand what sand is! But, it sure looks fun!

Oh yes, I think I like this.

This sand feels good in my hands.

I Love Opening Presents!

Today, when I got home from school, my Daddy saw a box sitting at our front door. He said, "I bet I know who that's from!" Well, I'm glad Daddy knew, because I didn't. It was a box from Nene and Pape.

Well, after I took a nap and Mommy got home from her school, Mommy and Daddy let me open the box. I really, really, really love opening boxes!

One of the first things I found was a book. It is a book about Jesus, and Jesus stories.

As you can tell, I really like looking at the book. My Mommy hopes I love to read as much as she does and my Daddy does.

I think I'm going to just sit and stare at my little book.

I think my Mommy's favorite present that I got was some clothes. While I like clothes, I like books and toys more.

And, since I'm being honest with you, I also love wrapping paper! And, empty boxes! Here I am with the wrapping paper--I'm not too sure what to do with it, but I'm learning!

It's Cake Time! (The Video, Part 2)

I will admit that my last video didn't end well! I was crying. Okay, I was showing my temper just a little, well, a whole lot! I really thought Mommy was trying to take my cake away from me.

When I found out that Mommy was just trying to turn my cake around so I could get to the other side, I was okay.

Here's the rest of the video, and it ends far better.

Enjoy.

It's Cake Time! (The Video)

Okay, you've seen the photos below of my birthday party and my birthday cake.

Here's the video of the same event. So, you can now see how I go from a clean little boy to a cake-covered little boy. Being clean is fun! But, being covered with cake is even better!

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it.

It's Cake Time! (Part 5)

There's not much of me that isn't covered in cake and icing!

My Mommy said that it was okay, since today is my birthday party day!

I like birthday party days!

Well, all good things come to an end! Even birthday party days.

Here I am in my big boy tub, getting cleaned up.

Mommy said something about a red ring being left in the tub.

What do you think she meant?

You mean I have to get out? I don't want to!
