In his "spare" time, he began thining about how I must have looked at Evan's age. Here's what he came up with!
After school today Mommy took me outside for a few minutes. I love outside.
For a few minutes, I always like sitting in the swing with Mommy or Daddy.
But, not for long. Then I want to get down.
I love playing with Daddy’s mulch and pine bark nuggets and sitting in the flower bed.
They are so much fun throwing them in the yard!
And, when Mommy and Daddy try to catch me, I run into the yard to get away. I am so fast!
Sometimes, when I run, I get tired. So, I just crawl after fast as I can.
Then, I look around to see what else I’ve never seen before.
And, then I am off again. Going 90 miles per hour to get to what I found.
For some reason, I always find my way back to the mulch! And, to Daddy’s rain gauge.
Mommy has wiped my mouth. I have found that I like eating dirt. As you can tell, my parents never feed me!
For some reason, I was being difficult today. I did not want to look into the camera.
But, I did want to walk and play in the flower bed.
Look at the picture below. What do you see? I think if you look closely, you will see a potato shaped as a heart. Tonight, Daddy pulled it out of the bag to cook for me for dinner. I knew I loved potatoes, but I never knew potatoes could love me back!
This afternoon, Mommy, Daddy, and I had a few minutes to play together. As you can tell, I am still loving my new wagon (now sure when I have to stop calling it new).
I love to go in and out and in and out and in and out…
Sometimes, I just love to fall back and let the wagon catch me!
Now tell me, can you resist a smile like this one? I think not!
It was such a beautiful day on Sunday and Mommy and Daddy took me to the park.
Here I am heading for my adventure.
I love the swing. Well, I don’t really love it yet. It takes me a few minutes to warm up to it, but once I do, it is so fun!
Can you tell that I am loosening up?
Will someone please push me! Please!
Oh, I have found the slide. I am going to teach Daddy how to go down the slide. At his age, he’s probably forgotten how to do it!
Now it’s Mommy’s turn! She’s younger than Daddy. Maybe she will remember how to slide.
It looks like spring is almost here. So, I was able to wear a short-sleeve shirt to church for the first time in a long time.
Don’t you agree with me that I am just too cute?
I wanted to make sure you see both sides of me and my sweater vest.
After our trip to the zoo, we had to bring home a little animal fun. We stopped at The Home Depot and picked up a bird feeder. So far, the birds are slow to respond. These birds were some of our first takers. Could it be that they don’t like me hitting the window when I see them? Or, could it be Peanut makes them nervous?
After a couple of minutes, the crowd picks up a little.
This bird wasn’t afraid of anything!
My Mommy planned a special day for Daddy and me! We went on my first trip to the zoo! It was fun. It was smelly! Those animals need to learn to clean up behind themselves!
Here are two red hogs. I think they were kissing.
Here’s my favorite animal of all! And, it’s also my Mommy’s favorite animal. I wish I were that tall.
Mommy and I look so short next to the giraffes.
When you look like this, only your mother will love you!
Daddy said that this was some of Mommy’s relatives.
Mommy said she didn’t think so. If I look closely enough, I’ll see Daddy’s side of the family.
Me and my Mommy.
You can’t see it very well, but there’s a HUGE monkey above our heads.
Who ever heard of such—pink birds!
And you were beginning to think that Daddy didn’t come to the zoo with us!
The rhino is a lot like Daddy—he didn’t want his picture taken either.
This hippo had the right idea—he was sleeping and soaking up the sunshine.
Mommy and I found something to touch! We love to touch things.
Can you see the goat? No, not Daddy. The goat in front of Mommy and me.
I think the goat is tired of getting rubbed.
This goat never got tired of being rubbed. My Mommy was using a brush to comb his hair.
I like goats. Daddy may have to get some of these for the back yard. I wonder how Peanut will take to that idea.
Lately, do you see a trend developing in these pictures?
Every picture Daddy takes of me is either in my wagon or beside my wagon. If Mommy would just let me sleep in the wagon, I probably would!
Next to my wagon, my favorite thing in the world is going naked around the house! Mommy was getting ready to dress me for bed, but she let go for just a second and off I ran. I grabbed my PJs and threw them into the wagon.
Next, I threw my diaper in the wagon. If I’m going to sleep in the wagon, I will need a clean diaper at some point along the way.
