My Second Thanksgiving Day

Today, is my second Thanksgiving.

Here I am relaxing before the craziness begins.

 

My Mommy says you have to look good for Thanksgiving Day.

 

I never have a problem with looking good!

 

I so crack myself up!

 

As you can tell, the craziness has begun. And, if you look closely, you’ll see that I am now wearing a different outfit. Why? Well, I decided to wear the chocolate cake from lunch!

 

This is my Uncle Ricky. He’s so much older than my Daddy. Can’t you tell? He has no hair!

 

This is Lauren and her fella.

 

Here I am enjoying time with NeNe.

 

Looks like Mommy is enjoying time with her Daddy.

 

This is Libby. I like her.

Here’s my Granny with Mary Savannah. She’s a cool older woman. Mary Savannah, not Granny.

 

Daddy said that I should look at this picture closely—because, surprisingly, both of them are awake at the same time! Daddy said that is rare.

 

This is my Granddaddy. I wonder what he’s talking about.

Libby had better not get any ideas! That’s my NeNe she’s sitting next to.

 

And, Uncle Ricky is still really, really, really OLD!

Happy Birthday Granny!

Today, is my Granny’s birthday. I think I heard Daddy and Mommy talking about Granny’s birthday. I think they said she is really old, something like 25 or something like that.

If I were with Granny today, I’d be enjoying my meal.

 

And, smiling as I eat.

 

Or, just smiling!

 

I made Granny a birthday card. I was supposed to pose with it for my picture.

 

Unfortunately, I liked the picture a little too much.

 

Daddy said we could always turn the picture over so Granny could read it.

Sorry Granny. The card has gotten a little wrinkled. 

Will you forgive me? If I smile really, really, really pretty at you?

Happy November!

Well, November is here. And, if you’ve forgotten, it is less than two months until Christmas!

I’ve been reading the WalMart catalog for good deals.

How could you resist a face like this?

 

Mommy wanted to take my picture today and show you how cool I was today.

 

I suppose I am cool.

 

But then again, I’m just me.

 

I love to play, especially outside.

 

Remember, Christmas is on December 25! Just in case you’ve already forgotten.
