After my time swimming and dunking the basketball, I just couldn’t keep my diaper up! So, as you can see, it just kept getting lower and lower and lower on me!
This photo will definitely come back to haunt me, I just know it!
On Friday, Mommy and Nene bought me a swimming pool for the backyard.
Today, I had my first opportunity to play in it.
At first, I really didn’t know what it was or why I was taking my bath outside, with my diaper on.
But then, I realized how fun it was.
I found that I really liked splashing the water!
Mommy also found a good deal for me as she went to some yard sales today. She found me a basketball goal—and it only cost $1. You can’t really beat that.
So, Daddy and I played basketball today.
I liked dunking the ball.
I would have been able to dunk by myself if I didn’t have on this diaper that I used to swim in.
Because between dunks, I had to go back into the pool again and again.
Mommy decided that today was the day for my first professional haircut.
I wasn’t so sure!
So, Daddy came and sat in the chair with me. That made me feel a little better.
This brush tickled! But, it was fun!
I kept tickling my chin. At least I tried to be happy with all that was going on.
I thought maybe I could hide behind the brush.
But, the person cutting my hair, kept finding me.
What do you think? Am I looking better? I think Mommy thought I was beginning to look like a girl. NEVER!
I love going to the Bass Pro Shop! They have all kinds of cool things to see and touch.
Here I am with some geese.
Daddy kept trying to get me to smile, all I carried about seeing were the ducks.
Oh, I also liked the hats! I look good in hats.
I look really good!
This has been a great week! On Monday, I saw my Greenville grandparents. This weekend, my Kentucky grandparents came to visit.
I’m pretty sure I have them wrapped around my little finger.
Summer is here! My Mommy is off of work and I am out of school.
Yesterday, we went to see my Granny and Granddaddy.
Here I am with Granny. I’m not sure she can handle an active little boy.
Granddaddy is so busy looking at me that he can’t even look at the camera.
Here I am with my grandparents dog—Mitzi. That dog is as big as a horse, or at least to me!
Tonight, my Mommy cooked us spaghetti. I’ve never really liked spaghetti, at least until tonight.
As you can tell, I think I’ve changed my mind about spaghetti.
I’m so glad that God gave me hands. They are good to shovel the food in!
Do you see the noodle being sucked in?
The noodles sure make the tomato sauce taste even better!
I love the long noodles!
It sure seems that Daddy always catches me when my face is dirty.
Then again, my face is often dirty.
Daddy and Mommy just have to remember that I am a boy. Boys love to get dirty, even if it is with food getting all over my face.
Hello Saturday!
It’s been a good day around the Heartsill household. Now, after a good nap and a HUGE lunch, I am excited to be alive…and full of energy.
Someone at Mommy’s school gave me a shovel and outdoor tools to play with. Daddy says if it ever quits raining, he’s going to put me to work in the yard! Daddy is so funny!
I can hardly keep from laughing at my Daddy.
If you look at my left eye (on the right side of the picture), you’ll see why Daddy named this post like he did. Do you see my new black eye? Well, last night, I was playing with Mommy and Daddy and fell against the entertainment center. Thankfully, I wasn’t hurt too badly, but I still wound up with a black eye.
I’m not sure what kind of face I am giving Daddy, but I thought it was funny. My hair’s a mess, I need a bath, and I have a black eye. Could life be any better?
Today is a very rainy day at our house.
But, who says that you can’t look good in the rain!
Here I am with my Mommy. We both have our rain gear on. Daddy said we might need an ark before long. Not sure what that is, but it sounds like it would be fun to play in.
I love breakfast! As a matter of fact, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day.
Most days, I drink milk, eat a banana, and then either toast or pancakes. That’s all before going to daycare. Then, at daycare, I eat breakfast again!
Here’s my new way to eat toast. And, of course, it’s not only a great way to eat toast, it’s fun to peak through the hole in the bread.
For several weeks, Mommy has been saying that we needed to take some bath time pictures. Normally, while Mommy gives me a bath, Daddy is cleaning up from dinner.
Finally, tonight, my parents were able to work it out to take some pictures.
As you will soon see, I love bath time!
Who says you have to spend money on bath toys? An empty soap bottle works just fine.
I love catching the water and bubbles in my bottle.
I always practice catch and release.
Oh, Mommy loves to wash my hair.
Again, you don’t have to have bath toys. I like the faucet just fine.
I am so happy in the tub.
I think I just ate a mouthful of bubbles.
What if I have to go to the bathroom?
Oh, just joking around. I don’t have to go to the bathroom, at least not yet!
