Here are some random pictures that I thought you might enjoy.

This is what happens when another child and I want the same toy at school. I think, this time, he won.

 

This weekend, Mommy and Daddy bought me some big boy underwear.

Sometime tells me that I don’t quite understand what the purpose of this underwear is.

 

It does make a good hat.

 

I could wear it if my head gets cold.

 

Otherwise, what good are they?

Last Full Day of Vacation

Well, I knew it had to come, but why did it have to come so soon?

Today is the last full day of vacation.

Here I am with my Mommy at Marineland.

 

I bet this shark could eat as much as I do a day!

 

For some reason, the sand on this part of the beach was red. That’s just wrong!

 

Even if it was red, it was still fun.

 

And, the birds didn’t seem to mind.

 

Daddy just had to take a picture of this sign.

 

Yes, we made it to the Daytona 500. Too bad, they didn’t ask Daddy to drive.

 

It was still fun to see the racetrack, if only from the outside.

“Daddy, please take my picture!”

 

This is the lighthouse in St. Augustine.

  

Mommy wanted Daddy to teach me how to play pinball. Daddy was shocked that it was Mommy’s idea.

 

It really was Mommy’s idea! I liked the lights and bells.

Spring Vacation—Day 3

Well, day 3 of our vacation is here.

This morning, we went to the oldest city in the United States. Daddy said that it is even older than Nene and Pape and Granny and Granddaddy! Now, that’s old!

Here’s Mommy standing in front of the oldest wood school house in the US. I think Mommy was putting in a job application.

 

Then, we headed off to breakfast. This was the breakfast for champions or heart surgeons! I’m not sure which.

 

Oh how I’d like to take a canon ball home with me.

 

They even had chickens in 1734.

 

Daddy finally showed up for our vacation. Normally, Daddy is behind the camera.

 

I really like fountains!

 

This was the first fort in America.

 

It is almost sounded by water. I hope those boats aren’t attacking.

 

If they are, I’m going to hide under here!

 

Mommy, are the British coming? Or, is that the Canadians?

 

Second Day at the Beach

Well, I finally convinced Mommy and Daddy to bring me to the beach. This time, I brought a special “Friend” with me!

 

Here I am in my new swimsuit and my new Go Diego Go t-shirt.

 

I’m not sure if we are at the beach or on the moon. Look at the ripples in the sand.

 

Here’s my special friend I mentioned earlier! Dogs are allowed on the beach here.

 

I’m not sure if I’m guiding Peanut or she’s pulling me!

 

I do know that Peanut loves the beach almost as much as me.

 

Well, maybe not.

 

I love the feel of sand between my fingers.

 

I’m bringing some of this back to Alabama with me!

 

Mommy was trying to convince me that it was time to leave the beach.

 

Well, you can see my arms. But where is the rest of me?

 

Oh I love the sand!

 

I think I’m going to move to the beach and live on the sand. We won’t even need a house.

Pillow Time

Well, the first night of vacation came to an end. It was finally time for bed. And, I was convinced that Mommy would let me sleep in her bed!

So, I fixed the pillows just the way I wanted them.

 

Only to find out that I’d have to sleep in my bed.

Our Family’s Fun

Well, the last two days, it seems that I’ve spent most of my time riding in the car!

See…not matter what Mommy says, I’ve smiled and laughed the entire way.

 

And, I’m a cool cat in my new sunglasses. No autographs please.

 

Here I am seeing the beach for the first time on this trip.

 

Hurry up Mommy! You are slowing me down!

 

Oh Evan that water is so cold on my toes!

 

Mommy, toughen up!

 

I’m just like my Mommy. I love the beach.

 

You see, at the beach you get to think about your life.

 

And, you get to let the wind blow through your hair. Well, all except for Daddy.
