Finally A Pretty Day

Well, finally, a pretty day in Birmingham!

So, my family went to the Birmingham Zoo today.

I’m a lion! Hear me Roarrrrr……

 

Here I am raking the rocks. Daddy says this is good practice for helping in the yard.

 

Daddy, I’ll help at home if we get a goat!

 

This sheep really wasn’t impressed with all of us.

 

Mommy’s trying to take a bird home with us.

 

This isn’t the best shot of the bird, but just look at Mommy’s face! That’s worth the price of admission there!

 

We were able to see a HUGE sea lion doing tricks.

 

The sea lion liked waving at us.

 

And, eating fish!

 

I found a cave to play in.

 

I loved running in and out, a few dozen times.

 

Daddy finally found the perfect place for me—behind bars!

 

Daddy said something about making me play with a rhino.

 

I think I’d rather fly with the flamingos.

 

Mommy and I liked the birds.

 

I really liked the zoo today.

 

You just have to watch and make sure the birds don’t eat you or anything.

 

Here we are leaving the zoo. I’m a very tired little boy.
